QUEST Society

QUEST showcases the best of the University of Queensland, Brisbane, and South-East Queensland for visiting International students and students on exchange.

The Queensland University Exchange Student Society (short QUEST) was founded by Australian students who returned from their own International study trips and found they didn't get the local experience they were hoping for. It's our job to make sure you leave Brisbane with a bunch of life-long friends, some great experiences - and maybe a couch to crash on somewhere around the world! From our tradi

tional start of semester trip, our amazing Noosa and Byron weekends, our Moreton Island trip or just our weekly Pub Nights, we have something to suit everyone. When you first arrive in Brisbane, send us an email (head to the Contact tab!) and we'll be only too happy to point you in the right direction! Feel free to contact us via Instagram as well at .society. From our humble beginnings, QUEST has grown to provide a real Australian experience to tens of thousands of students each semester. We're proud to continuously win awards at the UQ Union Club Awards Night, the UQ Vice Chancellor's Award for Internationalisation, and gain other recognition outside the UQ community. None of this is possible without our huge army of volunteers - and you! Our members are what make us great. We can't wait to meet you!

We’re closing out the semester the right way with our End of Semester Boat Party 🌊🛥️✨
Join us for a night on the water with good vibes, great music, and the best company to celebrate the end of semester properly. Expect sunset views, fun energy, and a night to remember with the crew.
And the night doesn’t stop there — we’ll be heading to the afterparty from 9PM onwards to keep the celebrations going 🍻🔥

New Farm Park is one of Brissy’s best lowkey weekend hang spots, with waterfront views and lush vibes. It is also one of the few licensed parks in town, so BYO is welcome! We highly recommend you take the Citycat to the New Farm Park Ferry Terminal, which stops right along the edge of the park, and kickstart your Saturday night in style.
