This Saturday - Induction Cooking Demo!
What does switching away from gas actually look like?
On Saturday 28 February, you can see it for yourself. Village Zero will be at the Bayside Farmers Market (8:00am–1:00pm, Trey Bit Reserve, Sandringham) as part of Melbourne’s Community Electrification Roadshow, delivered on behalf of Sustainability Victoria and Yarra Energy Foundation, and supported by Bayside City Council, Green Moves and Equoia.
At our stall you can:
• Watch live induction cooking demonstrations with a professional demonstrator
• Taste the results with free food samplers
• Enter our free prize draw to win a Mobile Induction Cooktop, a Home Energy Assessment and more
• Speak directly with industry experts from Green Moves
• Chat with locals who have already made the switch from gas
Our induction cooktops will even be powered by sunshine thanks to Equoia — showing what an all-electric, renewable-powered future can look like in real time.
Electrifying our homes isn’t just about cutting emissions. It’s about healthier indoor air, safer kitchens, long-term savings, and building a more resilient community. If you’ve been considering making the switch, or simply want clear, practical information, we’d love to see you there.
No registration required. Just drop by and say hello.
