πŸžπŸ’› A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Cobb Lane at South Melbourne Market for their generous support of our food rescue program! Cobb Lane's beautiful artisan bread and baked goods are now making their way to people in our community who need them most β€” rather than going to waste. That's the power of local businesses choosing to make a difference. πŸ™Œ

Every loaf rescued is a meal on someone's table. Every donation is an act of care for our neighbours. We are so proud to work alongside partners like Cobb Lane who share our belief that good food should reach everyone. 🌿

If you're at South Melbourne Market, please stop by and support this incredible local bakery β€” they are the real deal. ❀️πŸ₯

Thank you, Cobb Lane β€” from everyone at PPCG and everyone whose day is a little brighter because of you.

This is what a circular community looks like in action. πŸ₯¦πŸ…πŸŒ½

Our mates at Five Loaves collect surplus produce straight from our Share the Food program β€” and transform it into nourishing, ready-to-eat meals that come back to us here in our St Kilda office for emergency food relief.

From market to kitchen to community. Nothing wasted. Everything shared.

Huge love to Lisa and Angelo doing the Wednesday run, and to our absolute legend Neville β€” a long-term volunteer whose commitment to this community never wavers. This wouldn't happen without people like you. πŸ™

Reflecting on a brilliant morning recently!

We wrapped up a wonderful catch-up with Alana and Jimmy from the incredible team at OzHarvest β€” one of our long-standing partners and supporters. πŸ’›

They went above and beyond again, gifting us a gorgeous hamper to help celebrate our volunteers at our 2026 National Volunteer Week morning tea β€” and it was a hit! πŸ™Œ

We also had some real talk about food rescue logistics β€” navigating supply and collection challenges at South Melbourne Market amid the fuel crisis. These are the conversations that matter. 🍊🚐

And a special mention β€” OzHarvest gave a huge shoutout to our team for our role in the food survey report and the media coverage it generated. Proud doesn't even begin to cover it. πŸ’ͺ

It truly takes a village β€” and we are so grateful to be part of this one. ❀️
