Our swaps are such welcoming, community-minded events! It’s always a treat to see familiar faces and welcome new ones, especially when we see that spark of joy when someone gets how simple our concept is! 💡

Three years ago, we started Share&Swap Shop with a vision to build a community spot where we can share more and waste less. 💚

​Looking back at these past three years, together we made so many things possible! 

🔁 41 swaps hosted
👥 3,818 people attended our swaps 
🤝 Over 1,000 hours given by our wonderful volunteers
📚 7,991 items found new homes
🌍 Nearly 4 tonnes kept out of landfill!

Linden New Art is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year with a FREE community event, and Share&Swap Shop is ready to party!

You're invited to share your unused or pre-loved art materials and craft supplies and exchange them for something new-to-you. Come along and find new arts and crafts, meet fellow makers, and spark new ideas.

No items to share? No problem! You're welcome to enjoy the community vibe and find some treasures for your creative projects!

To celebrate 40th Anniversary of Linden New Art is throwing a massive House Party, and if you're a Port Phillip local, you are warmly invited! 🥳

​We will throw a massive Art & Craft Swap, but the afternoon has lots more to offer:

🎨 A hands-on collage workshop with artist Zoya Godoroja-Prieckaerts
🖼️ An exclusive tour of this year’s highly anticipated Postcard Show, led by our curator Hamish Sawyer
🌭 A classic sausage sizzle
🎶 Open decks—bring your own records and spin some tracks!

​✨ HOW THE SWAP WORKS:
Got pre-loved, unused art supplies or small finished pieces gathering dust? Share up to 5 non-bulky items to drop off between 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM, then score some new-to-you treasures during Free Shopping from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM!

​❌ No items to share? NO PROBLEM! You are still totally welcome to come along, soak up the community vibes, and take home some creative goodies.

​Whether you’re a professional artist, a weekend hobbyist, or just curious, everyone is welcome. Come for the party, stay for the creativity!
