🔥 O.N.E.26 – 24 HOUR MILSIM 🔥

One night. One mission. Twenty-four hours.

On October 31 – November 1, we're heading back to Rowallan Scout Camp, Riddells Creek for VLSA's annual 24-hour Milsim event.

O.N.E. is more than a normal skirmish. Deploy with your team, establish a patrol base and take on an evolving military scenario across day and night operations.

You don't need military experience, but you do need to be ready for plenty of walking, carrying your combat load and spending a night in the field.

Use the terrain. Make your move.

On September 19, VLSA heads to Dallas Brooks Scout Camp for our first game at this new field.

With long sightlines, varied terrain, creek crossings and plenty of natural cover, Dallas Brooks will reward players who communicate, move tactically and make smart use of the ground around them.

Expect up to four milsim-style skirmish games throughout the day — giving you plenty of opportunities to test your tactics, work with your squad and learn a completely new battlefield.

Two new fields. Two new dates. Registrations are now open.

This spring, we’re expanding the VLSA rotation with two new locations, both less than an hour from the Melbourne C*D.

📍 September 19 — Dallas Brooks Scout Camp
📍 October 3 — Harkaway Scout Camp

Both events will follow a skirmish format, featuring up to four milsim-style games across the day. Expect teamwork, tactical objectives, immersive gameplay, and plenty of opportunities to experience two very different fields.

Not every objective can be solved with a trigger.

At VLSA, missions can take you far beyond simply seizing ground. You might be recovering intelligence, escorting a VIP, searching for a hidden package, deciphering information, clearing a minefield or standing over a device wondering which wire to pull.

Our multi-box systems can be programmed for a variety of objectives, helping create different challenges across the battlefield.

Behind cover isn't always safe.

At VLSA, RF grenades add another layer to the battlefield. Rather than throwing projectiles, they use electronic simulation to damage nearby players, forcing teams to think carefully about how they use cover, defend objectives, and coordinate their movements.

They're perfect for breaking stalemates, clearing stubborn positions, or giving your squad the opportunity to advance. Just make sure your teammates aren't standing too close when it goes off...

RF grenades are allocated to teams as part of gameplay, adding even more tactical options at no extra cost.

On Saturday, August 29, VLSA returns to Rowallan Scout Camp for a full-day milsim deployment where communication, teamwork, and tactical thinking will shape the day's events.

With three factions operating across the battlefield, not every situation will be as straightforward as it first appears. Adapting to changing circumstances and making the right decisions at the right time will be just as important as winning the firefight.

Whether you're joining your first milsim or returning for another deployment, you'll experience a full day of immersive, objective-driven gameplay.

"Covering!"

Sometimes the mission depends on one player holding the line while another moves. It's those moments of teamwork, trust, and communication that make every VLSA game memorable.

Join us on July 25 at Pax Hill Scout Camp for a full day of gameplay, featuring one extended mission and at least two shorter one-hour scenarios, each offering a different tactical challenge.

We'll also hold a short 15-minute AGM between the first and second games before getting straight back into the action.
