BRING BACK SAILING to ST St Helens
As you aware that we were unsuccessful with the lease at the old slipway.
With support from Sailing Tasmania the St Helens Scouts and the St Helens Sailing Squadron (SHSS) have undertaken to share space.

Sailability Tasmania have donated to SHSS five Hansa 2.3 dinghy's for juniors to compliment the SHSS RS Quest and 12ft Cadet dinghy's.
The Hansa models are ideal for all sailing ability and meet the regulations for disability sailors.
we are looking for keen sailors and /or interested persons to join the working group and committee.
We are holding a public meeting on the 9th November starting at 6.00pm at the meeting room at the Bayside Hotel.
All welcome

23/11/2022

Afternoon everyone, we have been informed that our application for the Expression of Interest for the slipway Site has been unsuccessful.
BUT
We believe that the successful applicant would like for us to stay where we are, and that they will contact us in due course. At this stage this has not occurred.

Until this happens we do not know what the requirements are for the Sailing St Helens Sailing Squadron.

It has been decided that a public meeting to be held to discuss our future, hoping that we have had contact by the lease holder.

After this discussion then have a AGM for a positive future.

The meeting will be held on the 5th Dec2022, starting at 6.00pm.

All welcome
