Last night, Sue, Kate, Emma S, and Sara had the absolute pleasure of attending a wonderful showcase at Alleviate Support. We were blown away by the incredible things their team and participants are achieving!

Here are just a couple of the amazing people we met:
๐ŸŽฒ Brody: Brody is facilitating awesome board game events and runs a thriving YouTube channel! He is so close to reaching a major milestone - can we help him get to 1,000 subscribers? We know this community can make it happen! ๐Ÿ‘‰ Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/
๐ŸŽจ Chloe: We also got to join an art class run by the lovely Chloe and admire her gorgeous craftwork. We had so much fun!

Thank you so much to the team at Alleviate Support for hosting such a uplifting evening. We left feeling incredibly inspired! ๐Ÿ’™

Raising a child with a PDA profile? We want to support you.

Able2, MOCS, and Wellways are teaming up to create dedicated workshops for parents and carers of children with a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile, but we need your help to get it right.

Weโ€™ve put together a short survey to find out what topics, strategies, and resources would be most helpful to you.

Help us build a workshop that truly serves your family's needs.

Spotlight on Staff: Meet Tiffany!

We are incredibly proud to highlight Tiffany, a registered psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner here at Able2. Tiffany is trained and highly experienced in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to individuals of all ages.

If you've been hearing a lot about EMDR lately, you arenโ€™t alone! It has become one of the most talked-about, evidence-based approaches for treating trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and CPTSD.

To help demystify how it works, Tiffany just wrote a fantastic new blog post breaking down everything you need to know. ๐Ÿ‘‡

In her latest blog, Tiffany explains:
What EMDR is: A structured therapy that focuses less on detailed talking and more on helping the brain reprocess stuck, distressing memories.
How it works: Using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to reduce the emotional intensity of past trauma.
The key benefits: Faster results, long-lasting effects, and no need to retell every painful detail of your story.
Who itโ€™s for: Anyone feeling "stuck" in past experiences, dealing with recurring anxiety, or looking for a structured, results-focused therapy.

EMDR is fully supported by global health organisations and is recognised under the Medicare framework in Australia as an effective psychological treatment.

Ready to learn more about how EMDR can help you or a loved one move toward a calmer, more connected life?

Read Tiffany's full blog post here: https://able2.net.au/understanding-emdr-therapy-a-modern-approach-to-healing-trauma-and-managing-anxiety/

๐ŸŽฅ Bonus: The blog also includes a helpful explainer video by EMDRAA!

๐Ÿ“ž Take the next step: To book an EMDR session with Tiffany or learn more, call our Able2 office on 4760 4642 or complete our online referral form.
