What a wonderful morning for an important cause. 🧡 Yesterday, DARE Disability Support participated in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for Cancer Council.

More than 80 people came together to enjoy a beautiful spread of morning tea favourites, with raffles and generous community support helping make the event such a success.

Together, we raised over $1,200!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, baked, organised, bought raffle tickets, and helped make the morning such a success. 🧡

What a beautiful morning at DARE Disability Support. 🧡

Today, more than 80 participants, carers, team members and supporters came together for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising over $1,200 to help fund life-saving cancer support and research.

There was a beautiful spread of sweet and savoury morning tea favourites, plus a huge raffle to help raise even more for this important cause.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along, contributed, cooked, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets, organised and supported the day.

We’re so proud to be part of such a generous and caring community.

🧡 WOW Day at DARE 🧡

Yesterday, the DARE community proudly celebrated WOW Day (Wear Orange Wednesday) with the amazing volunteers from the NSW SES NSW SES Blue Mountains team🚨

Participants and staff had a fantastic day checking out the SES trucks and equipment, hearing the sirens, seeing the flashing lights, and learning more about the important work SES volunteers do to keep our community safe during fires, floods and emergencies.

The day was filled with laughter, smiles, sunshine and a community sausage sizzle. 🌭☀️

WOW Day has become a special annual tradition at DARE, and we are so grateful for the dedication, hard work and support the SES provide to our local community.
