Hello members, friends and supporters
It is with great sadness that I inform you that the Foundation cannot continue to exist in its current form. We have been inactive for the last three years due to the pandemic and with an ageing committee who has gone through some personal losses over the last year and no replacement volunteers or interest to commit to our great cause.
After 28 years of laborious work, please, be proud of your dedication, contribution, and achievement. It was a good and worthwhile journey; we met so many wonderful people, made many friends and had a lot of fun too. However now the reality has kicked in, we can no longer carry out the purpose that we set out to do due to our own circumstances, a lack of interest and succession in our great cause. We will leave a legacy of outstanding volunteer service to those who needed us in their darkest hour.
From the bottom of my heart, please accept my sincere gratitude for your ongoing support over the years as we could not have carried out the work that we did without your support.
A special general meeting will be held in July (TBA) as per our constitution to finalise the processes ahead.
