Power Of Us Su***de Prevention Training" is a network initiated by the Vedanta Centre to raise awareness about the importance of mental health care. The network, run by youth, collaborates with the Wesley Mission to organise meetings and workshops to bring awareness to our lives. They are conducting a free workshop (see the flyer). Admission is free. We urge you to participate in this workshop and gain valuable information necessary for maintaining mental health

Vedanta Soup Kitchen provides free meals, grocery hampers and bread to people in need. We also provide our frozen meals to other community outreach groups including Westside Community Care, Serving Our People & Gailes Community House - Family and Community Hub

Vedanta Soup Kitchen is run solely by an amazing team of volunteers, we have no paid staff. We use the funds we raise, through our fundraising events and donations, to buy food for meals, to purchase groceries for hampers and to pay the utility costs associated with the kitchen like gas, electricity and water. We receive no ongoing government funding.
