Vedanta Soup Kitchen provides free nutritious meals, grocery hampers, and bread to individuals and families experiencing hardship. We also supply frozen meals to community outreach organisations including Westside Community Care, Serving Our People, and Gailes Community House – Family and Community Hub.

Our kitchen is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, with no paid staff. Every dollar raised through fundraising events and generous donations goes directly towards purchasing food for meals and hampers, as well as covering essential operating costs such as gas, electricity, and water. We do not receive ongoing government funding.

No Interest Loans (NILS) are available through Vedanta Centre Brisbane. These loans can be utilised for essential goods and services, including fridges, washing machines, car repairs, laptops for back-to-school, school fees and booklists, medical and dental expenses, and car registration or repairs.

We are unable to process requests for bond or removal costs.
