“What was your favourite part of the day?” “EVERYTHING!!!”
We love enthusiastic feedback from the kids and today we got exactly that! Huge thank you to Ipswich Nature Centre and the wonderful guides we had as well as the Queens Park Environmental Education Centre!

Vac Care update: All requests have now been responded to! If you have been placed on the waitlist for a booked out day we will contact you if we have any cancellations or absences! Very limited places available on the remaining days.
We are still looking for donations of old electrical goods, everything from toasters, dvd players, washing machines, etc. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any!

Vacation Care update

We are so excited to extend on the children’s interest in farm to table, celebrate National Dance Day and for the return of Jaba-Jabaroo Day. This time the Mighty Mountains will take home the prize!!

Hi everyone we had an amazing week culminating in our pupil free day , where we had a disco, face painting, water play and outdoor sport .
The countdown is on to vacation care with 2 weeks to go !

Cooking club in full swing at BSC! The children had so much fun baking banana bread this morning! Not only are they learning how to make nutritious food, cooking club also allows children to learn skills such as empathy for others, how to manage risk, being considerate and thoughtful of others that may have allergies, maths skills, science skills, hypothesising, communication, turn-taking, team work and problem solving skills. Think your child would love to be involved? This is a BSC only activity so book into BSC now!

This amazing rain has ripened all our tomatoes!! The children were excited to harvest them this morning and wash them ready for afternoon tea!

Another great week at Jabiru ! It’s been nice to have a few warmer afternoons, children have enjoyed outside play especially playden and garden. Our tomato bush has tomato’s growing on it and we’ve had many conversations with children about our garden.
