Reconnecting Arts and Community Reconnecting with our Community, and Getting Involved with Art, Craft, Music and Creativity!

The 'Open Studio; Reconnecting Arts and Community' events are generally held over one or two days on a weekend during March or April each year, with plans to extend this into larger events, and possibly more frequent. The market feature a variety of artists and crafts people (estimated up to 15 stalls+), interactive workshops and demonstrations. The event encourages a creative space where people h

ave the opportunity to share their own creativity and mingle with artists, crafts people and musicians. It is a space where anyone can come, see and experience creativity for themselves and be part of art, whether it is through finger painting, clay work, having a jam or dance, stone or wood carving, etc. There will also be interactive demonstrations, workshops and handmade Australian works for sale. The event should have a positive and uplifting feel to it and we hope to make it a fun, interactive, and creative event, bringing together the community.

Reconnecting Open Studio is a day centred on creativity, community and hands-on experiences.

Join us at Pulse Art Studio for workshops, open studios and the opportunity to connect with local artists in one shared space. Itโ€™s relaxed, welcoming and suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Danica Wichtermann Ceramic Artist will be running mini clay sessions, MaxineFaye MaxineFaye will host a creative beaded bug workshop, Nis Pulse Art Studio will offer free sound circle sessions, Andreas Hutter will demonstrate stone carving, and will showcase woodcarving demonstrations. A strong lineup of makers will be activating the studio throughout the day.

Spend the day exploring demonstrations and mini workshops, meeting artists, and seeing how ideas take shape through process and material. Nis Pulse Art Studio and Danica Wichtermann Ceramic Artist are looking forward to sharing their creations and bringing people together for a unique creative experience.
