Reconnecting Arts and Community Reconnecting with our Community, and Getting Involved with Art, Craft, Music and Creativity!

The 'Open Studio; Reconnecting Arts and Community' events are generally held over one or two days on a weekend during March or April each year, with plans to extend this into larger events, and possibly more frequent. The market feature a variety of artists and crafts people (estimated up to 15 stalls+), interactive workshops and demonstrations. The event encourages a creative space where people have the opportunity to share their own creativity and mingle with artists, crafts people and musicians. It is a space where anyone can come, see and experience creativity for themselves and be part of art, whether it is through finger painting, clay work, having a jam or dance, stone or wood carving, etc. There will also be interactive demonstrations, workshops and handmade Australian works for sale. The event should have a positive and uplifting feel to it and we hope to make it a fun, interactive, and creative event, bringing together the community.
