The My Time artwork by Kathleen Turtur, tells its own beautiful story. The circles represent the different stages we move through, the yarning circle brings the women together, and the waves represent the different experiences shared along the way.

Men's mental health group - move, talk, connect. 👬
Move your body, have chat, grab a coffee and connect with good people.

Men’s mental health group WNOW (When No One is Watching) is coming to Cockburn, creating a relaxed space for local men to connect, get moving and talk about whatever is on their mind.

The idea is simple: move, talk and connect. Each session includes 20 to 30 minutes of exercise, an open conversation, an optional swim, then coffee and a chance to catch up.

No awkward introductions. No pressure to have the answers or solve anyone’s problems. Just show up, have a go, listen and connect with other men.

With successful groups already running in Cottesloe and Rockingham, now it is Cockburn’s turn!

Keen to become a volunteer leader, join the group or know a mate who would love this? Get involved and help us get WNOW Cockburn moving!

Meet Peter - Bbq King!

Think you know Rotary? Think again. Cockburn Rotary brings locals together for friendship, volunteering and a seriously competitive monthly Fun Quiz, all while raising money for the community.

Peter has volunteered in our community for many years, including as Chair of the Cockburn Community Men’s Shed, before joining Cockburn Rotary in 2005. What keeps him involved? The people, the friendships and seeing what can happen when locals generously give their time.

Through its Community Grants Program and monthly Fun Quiz, Cockburn Rotary has contributed more than $90,000 to local community groups, clubs and schools.

You can also find the team behind the much-loved Cockburn Rotary Spring Fair, returning to Manning Park on Sunday 25 October with food, entertainment and free family activities.

The best part? You do not need to attend every meeting or make a huge commitment to get involved. Give a little time, lend a hand at an event, join the club or simply come along and meet the people behind Rotary.

Curious? Connect with Cockburn Rotary Club and discover how you can be part of it. 💙
