A reminder of our AGM and March meeting this Sunday afternoon, March 22nd, at Washpool Hall. A bit of an overview of the plans for the afternoon below;
⢠3PM ā Arrival and afternoon tea
⢠3.30PM ā AGM, Feral February (Jan-March) awards, and a moment for review; Bring along photos, or a story, of project youāve done that has improved our landscape, incl. but not limited to; revegetation, dam improvement, erosion prevention and repair. Share your tips and tricks for successful pest trapping and baiting.
⢠4PM ā Carbon Farming ā What it means and Why it matters ā Ruth Sommerville, Rufous and Co
⢠4.30PM ā 2026-2030 Planning Session ā Future Group Activities and Priority Areas for the Region ā Bring along an idea for your place, a public space, or for the broader regional landscape and weāll put together a list for some projects and activities we can work towards across the region for the next 5 years. Can be weeds, water, soil, biodiversity or farming related! Could be learning focussed tooā¦speakers, bus tour, kids educationā¦.anything youād like to see more of in our patch.
⢠5PM ā BBQ Dinner
Please bring along something to share for the afternoon/evening; either a plate for afternoon tea, a salad, or a dessert. Tea and Coffee provided, and a BBQ tea. BYO alcohol.
Donāt forget to bring your tallies along for Feral February, or email them in. Some great prizes availableā¦and thereās been no shortage of ferals to target!
All welcome, bring the kids and the tennis rackets or scooters, bring the neighbour or your friends. Landcare is best when shared.
