Calling all artists 🎨✨

St Hilda’s School invites established and emerging artists to showcase their work at the 2026 Festival of the Arts (FOTA), taking place 7–8 August, with our opening night cocktail party on Thursday 7 August.

Following another incredible festival last year, with a sold-out opening night, beautiful artworks and overwhelming community support, we're excited to once again celebrate creativity and artistic talent.

This is your opportunity to have your work exhibited as part of one of the Gold Coast’s much-loved arts events, alongside a vibrant community of artists and art lovers.

To submit your artwork, follow link in our bio.

We can’t wait to see your artwork on display at FOTA 2026.

Our Futures Festival inspired big dreams and exciting possibilities for the future.

Students in Years 10–12, alongside their parents and carers, explored a wide range of career, study and industry pathways through engaging exhibitors, insightful guest speakers and valuable one-on-one conversations. From university opportunities to emerging industries, the evening was all about empowering our young girls to confidently shape their futures.

At St Hilda’s School, we believe she can be anything, and events like this are designed to help our students discover the many paths available to them as they step into life beyond school.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening such an inspiring success. The future is bright. ✨

The ANZAC Spirit lives here.

This ANZAC Day, we honour the courage, sacrifice and service of those who came before us and reflect on how that spirit continues to shape our community today.

From wartime contributions to the leadership and compassion shown by our serving St Hilda’s Old Girls and students today, this legacy of service remains at the heart of our school.

Lest we forget.

Giving Back This Easter

On Easter Sunday, we were proud to pass on delicious Easter treats generously donated by our St Hilda's staff, to the Gold Coast Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

The gesture was warmly received, and both hospital staff and patients shared their sincere gratitude. It was a small act of kindness that helped bring a little extra joy during the Easter period as we endeavour to model our school motto 'Non Nobis Solum - Not For Ourselves Alone'.

Happy International Women's Day from us all in the St Hilda's School Community!

The global International Women's Day theme this year is "Balance the Scales". This campaign focuses on achieving, equitable, and inclusive justice for all women and girls, addressing systemic, legal, and social barriers that hinder progress. It highlights the need for safety, fair representation, and equal rights for women globally.

Young Women Leading the Conversation for Change

On Friday, St Hilda’s celebrated International Women’s Day with Croissants and Conversations, a powerful student-led breakfast hosted by our Meta Masters group and inspired by the global theme Balance the Scales.

We were grateful to welcome our guest speakers, three of whom are proud St Hilda’s Old Girls, who inspired students, staff and guests during a powerful morning of leadership, insight and purpose. These four exceptional women are shaping change across health, advocacy, sustainable energy and global finance. Our sincere thanks to Joanne Bergamin, Nicolle Edwards, Dr Kuljit Singh and Bianca Park for generously sharing their stories, wisdom and vision for a more equitable future.

The message of the morning was clear. Creating a fairer world requires courage, leadership and collective action. When young women are empowered to ask questions, challenge systems and lead with purpose, real change becomes possible.

At St Hilda’s, our students are not waiting for the future. They are already shaping it.

Today’s conversation was more than an event. It was a reminder that when young women lead with conviction, the scales begin to shift.

Special thanks also to for donating the beautiful l flower bouquets and table flowers.
