African Communities Association Gold Coast Strengthening the African community on the Gold Coast

The African Communities Association Gold Coast was incorporated 1 August 2006, to represent a new and emerging community on the Gold Coast, to help and support migrants, refugees and adopted children from Africa to settle and integrate into the mainstream community and embrace the Australia way of life. ACA aims to promote awareness and mutual respect of different customs, languages and religions

in Australia and to share African culture, customs and traditions with the wider community. With more than 200 members in Australia, ACA has enjoyed great success with activities that promote cross-cultural understanding and friendships with the wider community.
