As we wrap up another inspiring day, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our MC & Moderator, Amanda Cops, incredible presenters Prof. Jayashri Kulkarni AM, Aneka Srinivasan, insightful panel members, Dianne Simboro, Karin Smith & Jotpreet Kaur and all attendees who joined us from across Australia and beyond.

Your knowledge, lived experiences, thoughtful discussions, and active participation have helped create a meaningful space for learning, connection, and advocacy for women's mental health. Together, we are reducing stigma, sharing hope, and strengthening our collective commitment to supporting mental wellbeing for women everywhere.

Thank you for being part of this important conversation.

Today, on the World Mental Health Day, the Mental Health Foundation Australia stands in solidarity with the global call to make mental health a priority for everyone, everywhere.

This year, through the National Multicultural Mental Health Month 2026, we are raising awareness about women’s mental health under the theme “Supporting Women’s Mental Health Every Day.”

Every woman deserves to feel heard, supported and understood, regardless of her background or circumstances. Together, we can reduce stigma, encourage open conversations and make support more accessible for all.

Let’s continue building a future where no one has to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Day 8, and Danny's already made it to 📍Peak View NSW.

Melbourne's still a long way off, but every kilometre is getting him closer, and every donation is getting someone closer to mental health support.

Follow the journey. Fuel the finish.

Danny's covering 1,113km, all we need from you is support.

A donation, a share, a conversation with someone who's struggling, it all counts.

BEST OF LUCK

Danny has taken on an impossible challenge, 1,113km, 19 days, Sydney to Melbourne, for a cause bigger than himself.

"Alot of this run is going to be about how things are harder alone and easier together" - Danny Ovens

This isn't a challenge you take on alone. It needs a whole community behind it, sharing, donating, and showing up however you can.

Every bit helps carry him through. 💛
