South Morang Playgroup South Morang Playgroup is a parent run playgroup held at Riverside Community Centre in South Morang. On a and a drink for their child/ren.

We strive to provide a fun, versatile & supportive environment for all preschool aged children, from babies through to kids also attending kinder. South Morang Playgroup caters for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and is a great low-cost activity for parents to make new friends and for children to have new play experiences and develop their social skills. We are parent run (meaning that there is

no facilitator to lead the group) and are overseen by a volunteer committee. At each session, parents are involved in deciding what toys/equipment/craft activities to do and are required to help with the setting up/packing up. Tea and coffee facilities are available and families bring a snack plate to share with the group for morning/afternoon tea (ie, fruit, cheese and crackers etc.) Toys and resources available include a trainset; bikes and scooters; playdoh; climbing frames; foam mats; arts and crafts; and dress-ups. Specific activities throughout the year are also planned, generally around occasions such as Easter, Fathers Day, Halloween and Christmas etc. South Morang Playgroup is a member of Playgroup Victoria.
