Michael Parker Foundation supporting another worth cause

Thanks to the contributions from the Michael Parker Foundation, four schools- Lamagadha, Rastrabhasha, Sishudaya & Janakalyan, in west Nepal now have new toilet & wash facilities.

The previous facilities were fragile and unusable, the new two room blocks with toilet and handwashing facilities were completed in July 2025. In total 205 students from four schools, 117 girls & 88 boys will benefit from these new facilities.

Dare School currently serves approximately 250 students across three classrooms, with students divided into am and pm groups to accommodate space constraints, highlighting the school's current setup and limited capacity.

The school grounds are scheduled for development around 2026 to honor the memorial, with students relocating to a partially built new school 100 meters away.

As of January 2026, students from grade 2 upwards will be required to leave the premises to allow the development of the grounds to commence. Pre-primary and grade 1 will remain in part of the current school until later in 2026, supporting continuity for the youngest students.
