A big win for ALDI workers!

The Federal Court has approved the settlement of the class action against ALDI, covering around 32,300 current and former workers. The settlement is expected to bring ALDI’s total remediation liability to approximately $55.2 million.

This result follows years of work by the SDA to recover unpaid wages and entitlements for ALDI workers across Australia.

It's National Safe Work Month, and retail work is getting harder. Here's what retail, fast food, and warehouse workers said in our survey:

- 77% at high risk of harm
- 72% experiencing burnout
- 58% reporting very low wellbeing
- 54% dissatisfied with their jobs
- 49% intending to resign
