The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 1958 for the purpose of providing a forum for cinematographers to further develop their skills through mutual co-operation.

ACS Members are invited to attend the screening taking place this Saturday October 3rd | Sun Cinemas - Melbourne, Yarraville, 2PM - Q&A Screening.  The film is self-funded and is being self-distributed theatrically. In November, the film will be on Stan and Nine through their distributor, Umbrella.   The film was shot by Benjamin Bellette on location in Far North Queensland using the Sony Burano, utilising the Mantis and Easy Rig for the majority of the film. Equipment was rented from Lemac Australia, working with its Melbourne and Brisbane branches. It was shot with the Tokina Vista and Musashi Optical “Takumi” 2 29-120mm.

🎞 Join us for a screening of the highly acclaimed ABC TV series, Treasure & Dirt! ACS Vic member, Cinematographer Ed Goldner ACS, will be present to discuss the show after the screening of an episode. 🎞

🎥 We will also be joined by Tim Schumann from Blackmagic Design. The series was shot on the Blackmagic Ursa Cine 17K 65 camera to magnificent effect as you will see. Tim will bring along the camera and other Blackmagic equipment to check out and ask questions from the man himself. 🎥

Arrive early to check out the gear and catch up with friends.. or make some new ones.
