Access for All Abilities - aaaplay

Access for All Abilities - aaaplay Regular physical activity is crucial in maintaining a healthy body, a sense of wellbeing and promoting quality of life.

Operated by Reclink Australia, aaaplay (Access for All Abilities) helps to connect people with a disability to sport and active recreation opportunities in Victoria. Operated by Reclink Australia, AAA Play is Australia’s only referral and information service to connect people with a disability to sports and recreational opportunities. Access for All Abilities is committed to being an ‘opportunity

broker’ for every person, no matter what the disability, to benefit from participating in sport and recreation. Whether it’s basketball or swimming, fencing or cricket, beginner or aspiring paralympian; Access for All Abilities is, as the name suggests, committed to being an ‘opportunity broker’ for every person, no matter what the disability, to benefit from participating in sport and recreation. Providing a crucial entry point for people who are seeking out a sports or recreation connection, Access for All Abilities - first-point-of call service will work with the enquirer to identify what activity they wish to be involved in, what their disabilities are and where they are located. Drawing on a network of State Sporting Associations (SSAs), active community clubs, local governments and disability specific sport and recreation providers, Access for All Abilities can link each person with a suitable sport or recreation activity, in a timely manner. There are multiple ways in which people can contact us – email, via 1800 AAA VIC, through this very website and even live chat online during business hours. Being an available and easily contactable source of information and referral is a fundamental component of Access for All Abilities. We want to make communicating with us as easy possible – regardless of our visitors’ preferred way to find information. Reclink Australia is proud to be providing the AAA Play service in metropolitan Melbourne in conjunction with our partners thanks to the support of the Victorian State Government.

🌟 Registrations are now open for the new term of UCAN2 – Uniting Communities & Networks Together! 🌟

Our UCAN2 program is a successful and welcoming program for adults and children with social, learning and mental challenges. It is designed to support inclusion, confidence and connection through a fun and relaxed sporting environment.

UCAN2 offers guided activities, skill building and friendly games in a safe and caring space. Bocce is a low-impact, non-contact sport, making it suitable for all abilities. Participants build coordination, confidence and social skills, while learning to work together and support each other as part of a team.

💬 What participants, families and schools are saying:

“This program has helped my child feel confident and included. They look forward to it every week.”

“I feel comfortable here. Everyone is kind and patient, and I have made new friends.”

“UCAN2 has been a wonderful way to bridge the gap for our students. It supports inclusivity, teamwork and mutual respect, and gives children the chance to work together, encourage each other and feel a strong sense of belonging.”
