WiseTech kept tech workers in limbo for months, then tried to box them in with sweeping non‑competes.

PA members organised and won changes, forcing WiseTech to narrow its non‑compete clause.

We’ll keep fighting until WiseTech workers are free to take their skills wherever they’re needed.

Like, comment and share to stand with them.

The results are in! 🎯

Professionals at Canberra Health Services and across the ACT public sector have voted overwhelmingly to authorise protected industrial action, with over 95% of voters saying yes across both ballots.

These are engineers, scientists, pharmacists, medical physicists, and technical professionals who show up every day to keep the ACT running and its people healthy. They have voted down an unfair offer. They have been patient and acted in good faith. Now, they have had enough.

It's time for the ACT government to give workers a fair deal!

We are proud to celebrate Kay Dunkley as the inaugural recipient of the Joanna Griffith Medal.

The medal recognises a Professionals Australia delegate whose dedication, generosity and service have had a meaningful impact on members and the wider union movement.

Kay is an exceptionally deserving first recipient. Her longstanding support for pharmacists and her commitment to the union embodies the steadfast leadership that makes a lasting difference to members and their profession.

Kay was joined on the occasion by Katie Havelberg, National President of Professionals Australia, and Bianca Piljic, National Vice President and fellow pharmacist.

Congratulations, Kay, on this well deserved recognition, and thank you for the remarkable role you continue to play in the union.

Workers at Snowy 2.0 are speaking out in the Sydney Morning Herald today, and what they're revealing should alarm every worker in Australia.

Multiple serious incidents. Hospitalised workers. Safety concerns routinely dismissed. A reporting culture so broken that incidents are being misclassified to downplay their severity. Production is being put ahead of safety time and time again.

This isn't just about a project spiralling from $2 billion to $12 billion and years behind schedule. It's about what happens when production deadlines are prioritised over the safety of the engineers, supervisors and technical staff doing the work.

We have warned Snowy Hydro's CEO directly. Our members at Snowy 2.0 are standing together to hold management accountable. Because when your expertise is being ignored and your safety is on the line, standing together is how professionals win.

19/05/2026

Our members at Snowy Hydro 2.0 are working 12+ hour shifts but only being paid for 7.6 hours. They are willing to do the work, but not for free. Snowy Hydro contractor Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) expects them to just eat the difference. That's not fair and it's not safe. Last week we executed a right of entry at the FGJV head office in Cooma to secure the records that will expose this wage theft. We won't stop until every hour is paid.

Both on Forbes' list of Australia's richest people, both founders of global tech companies, both slashing their workforce for their AI 'transformations'. But there are some.... differences.

Professionals Australia has secured a major victory for aircraft engineers, with the Fair Work Commission confirming that a majority of workers want to bargain collectively for a new Enterprise Agreement.

This means the employer is now legally required to negotiate in good faith.

This outcome sends a strong message: aircraft engineers are standing together for fair pay, safe workloads, professional respect and a stronger future for the aviation industry.

A special thanks to our Delegates Ben, Alex and Nathan who have fought hard face for this win under very difficult circumstances.

Now the bargaining begins.

Members at DXC Technology are taking rolling 24-hour strikes to fight back against five years of wage stagnation, cuts to their agreed conditions, and a company that has spent 15 months refusing to bargain fairly.

Cost of living is up 24.5%. DXC made $591 million profit last year. Workers are only asking for 4%!

Support DXC workers by sharing this video and leaving a comment on this video.

Professionals Australia surveyed our members working on the Snowy 2.0 project through the Future Generation Joint Venture. What they told us demands urgent action.

We have written to FGJV demanding they address these conditions. We have also escalated these findings directly to Snowy Hydro CEO Dennis Barnes and met with his office to ensure they are acted on. Snowy Hydro has committed to investigating the safety concerns raised and to progressing a proper enterprise agreement for the white-collar workforce.

We are holding them to those commitments. If FGJV fails to act, we will continue to escalate through every avenue available to us, including formal proceedings already underway in the Fair Work Commission.

Our members deserve a safe workplace. That is not negotiable.
