Mackay HOG Mackay & District Harley Owners Group MAD HOG is a part of the Australian HOG Organization, which is sponsored by the Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

Formed in 1989 and originally named the Mackay & District V-Twin Motorcycle Club, the Mackay & District Harley Owners Group (MAD HOG) is one of the longest running HOG Groups in Australia. The purpose being to promote responsible Harley rider activities for all members, male and female, by encouraging participation in HOG events and challenges. Being a HOG member is an experience like no other. It

’s the pride, dedication, and enthusiasm of genuine people with a genuine interest, a love of all things HOG and Harley Davidson. It’s the desire to ride with like-minded people, sharing in a passion for the journey, the adventure, and the camaraderie. We at MAD HOG are keeping the dream alive.

Great turnout for the 2026 QLD State HOG Rally Thunder Run.
Thank you to the Mackay community for welcoming the visitors to our region

Thanks to everyone that lined the route for the Thunder Run and gave us a wave and cheered us on. It certainly added to the spectacle and made the ride even more enjoyable.

Everyone was impressed by the level of support and it definitely helped put a smile on many riders faces, especially mine
