Sorell on Stage Formed in 2010 by like-minded members of the local community we aim to bring live theatre to SE Tas.

Formed in 2010 by like minded members of the community to bring theatre to our local area. We present 3 productions per year and encourage new members to join us. Our home is at the Sorell Memorial Hall and we thank the Sorell Council for their continued support for our group. In 2016, we were honoured to be awarded with an Errol at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards for exceptional, original, community-based performances.

Sorell on Stage presents a sparkling murder mystery, Murder on Board. Written and directed by Jules Zimmerman, and staged at the Sorell Memorial Hall 15-23 May.

🎭 We are after people of all ages who might be looking for a new hobby!

Sorell on stage is a friendly and welcoming community theatre group (based out of the Sorell Memorial Hall) that stages three theatre shows and regular play readings throughout the year. No experience necessary.

If being onstage isn't your thing maybe working backstage, helping make costumes, building sets or even ushering might be your thing.

Our first show of the season is the sparkling murder mystery, Murder on Board. It has a cast of 8 women, 3 men and 2 non-specific genders, with auditions taking place Sunday 22 February.
