Five million eligible containers have now been returned through City Mission’s Recycle Rewards Burnie Depot - and that is no small thing 💛

What started as a new recycling scheme has become something much bigger - a community movement, a shared routine, a drive-through that’s making a real difference ♻️

Four million containers returned through City Mission’s Recycle Rewards depot at 2 McKays Road in Somerset. Four million small actions that add up to something powerful 💛

Because this isn’t just about bottles and cans.

City Mission's Recycle Rewards depot at 2 McKays Road in Somerset is fully undercover and drive-through, so you can stay warm and dry in your car while we take care of the rest 🚗

This afternoon City Mission North & North West TAS officially launched the Recycle Rewards Depot Burnie, and we are so grateful to everyone who came along to celebrate this exciting milestone for the North West community. 💛♻️

We were honoured to be joined by:

Celebrate the opening of the Burnie Recycle Rewards Depot with a public open day this Saturday June 28th.

Bring your containers, enjoy a snag from 11am-2pm, and take part in activities, competitions, and giveaways throughout the day!

The depot is located at 2 McKay’s Road, Somerset and is open from 9am – 4:30pm. See you there!
