📣 Woady Horse Trials – Entries Are Now Closed!

You absolute legends have blown us away. We’ve been flooded with entries for this year’s Friends of Woady Horse Trials, and we’ve now officially hit capacity — so entries are closed for 2026.

But good news if you missed out:
You can still submit an entry and you’ll be added to the waitlist. As spots free up, we’ll offer them in order.

We’re genuinely so grateful for the support, excitement, and love you’ve shown our little event. The committee is thrilled… and also standing in the car park staring at the space we have, wondering how on earth we’re going to park everyone.

If Woady is on your must‑ride list, jump on the waitlist — you never know when a spot might open.

📣 Competitor Update – Extra Yards & Camping Now Available!

Great news for riders chasing qualifications (especially our South Australian friends making the trip!). We’ve arranged additional yards and overnight camping through Ballarat Pony Club, meaning more competitors can now enter Woady.

A huge thank you to Ballarat PC, Judy Croagh and Nina Lloyd for helping us make this possible — we really appreciate the support.

The option to camp and yard at Ballarat Pony Club has now been added to the entry form.

Anyone currently on the yard waitlist can also amend their entry or email Event Secretary to take up a Ballarat yard and camping spot.

📣 Woady Horse Trials – Get Ready! Entries Open Sunday

The countdown is officially on — entries for Woady Horse Trials open this Sunday, April 12th at 8.00am on Event Secretary, and we know plenty of riders have been waiting for that green light.

The committee has been buzzing behind the scenes, and now that everything is locked in, we’re thrilled to move from planning mode to entry mode.

The excitement is definitely building — and if the messages we’ve been getting are anything to go by, you’re just as ready as we are.

We’ve got a huge weekend planned, a full slate of classes, and the same Woady atmosphere everyone knows and loves. Parking is still our limiting factor, so if Woady is on your calendar, set an alarm, grab a coffee, and get those entries in early

We can’t wait to watch the start lists fill and see the eventing community rally once again. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant weekend.

📣 Woady Horse Trials – Event Update

A quick update from the Friends of Woady Horse Trials Committee following our meeting last night — we’re excited to confirm that Woady Horse Trials will be running on May 23 & 24.

At this stage, the only circumstance that would stop the event is an act of God. We’re committed to giving riders certainty, especially with so many events being cancelled around the state and with Melbourne International Horse Trials just around the corner.

We’re also pleased to share that entry fees will remain exactly the same as they have been for the past five years. Supporting the eventing community matters to us, and keeping costs stable is one way we can do that.

This year we’ll be offering a full range of classes, including:
🐴 Young Horse Classes – EvA65, EvA80 & EvA95
🐴 Grassroots – EvA65, EvA80 & EvA95
🐴 Open – EvA65, EvA80 & EvA95
⭐ CCN 1*
⭐ CCN 2*
⭐ CCN 3*
⭐ CCN 3.5*

We’re aiming to have entries open on Event Secretary within the next fortnight, and we will take as many entries as we can safely accommodate, noting that parking space is limited — so get in early once entries open.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Woady. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to a fantastic weekend of eventing.

2025.26 Series

Welcome riders, breeders, owners and event organisers.

We are thrilled to announce Horseland will continue to support the series with the overall winner and runner up in each section for the 2025.26 season. The events will kick off at Oxley Horse Trials on 11/12 October 2025 and their entries open this coming Monday at https://eventsecretary.com.au/equestrian/21021

All events for the series are:

🐴 – Avenel Horse Trials – 25/26 October 2025
🐴 – Gisborne Horse Trials – 24/26 January 2026

After consultation with Zoe's family and closests friends, we are pleased to announce a change in the ages to the heights as follows:

- EvA65 for the 5-Year-Old and under (born August 2020 – July 2022)
- EvA80 for the 6-Year-Old and under (born August 2019 – July 2022)
- EvA95 for the 7-Year-Old and under (born August 2018 - July 2022)

We look forward to a great series for 2025.26.
