Thank you to everyone who came along for our Rest & Reset Sound Healing this afternoon!

Shelley from HOPE - Helping Other People Evolve created a beautiful relaxing afternoon session as we all drifted away to the soothing sounds of crystal bowls, rain makers, seed pod shakers, chimes and the gong.

We had a great chat with the folks over at Foodbank Victoria a couple of weeks ago around how things have being going here at the Skipton Food Bank.

As you'll all know, we are kindly auspiced by Camperdown Community House, but on 27th January of this year we also partnered with Foodbank Victoria.

We wanted to share our snapshot with you - this is a record of all of the items that we have received through Food Bank Victoria since the end of January. We have:

💜Received over 5 tonnes of food
💜Received more than 400kg of non-food items (lots of pallets of water for fire relief are contributing to this figure!)
💜Helped to provide over 9,000 meals to the community

Of course these figures do not capture the hundreds of donations that we received from both individuals and businesses - but wow! What an incredible achievement!

Things moved so quickly for us after the fire, we jumped in with both feet and didn't look back. Its really fantastic to have a formal record of what we have achieved, even though we know the total is much greater.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers for all of your hard work, and thank you to everyone who has and continues to support Skipton Food Bank.

Lastly, thanks to Foodbank Victoria and Camperdown Community House who continue to support us to make a difference in our community. We couldn't do what we do without you! 🧡
