On behalf of all of us at Shoalhaven Heads SLSC, congratulations to Clyde Poulton and Wes Davis who have been recognised with National Medals.
These medals are part of the Australian honours system for long and diligent service by individuals to protect and assist their community.
Both Clyde and Wes have given many years of service to SLS and will be presented with their medals at our end of season presentation night.

Saturday at 9am, we will join surf lifesavers across the country and observe a 3 minute silence at the waters edge in front of the surf club to show our support to our fellow lifesavers and to everyone affected by the Bondi tragedy.
Everyone is welcome, patrol members and nippers, please wear your uniform.

Silent reflection on the water’s edge

Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club and North Bondi SLSC invite lifesavers across Australia to come together at the start of their patrols on Saturday to observe 3 minutes of silence to pay our respects. They would like to encourage you to wear your patrol uniforms, stand shoulder to shoulder in a line along the shore facing the sea, and observe a 3-minute silence before your patrol commences.

We stand shoulder to shoulder to show we are a united group of surf lifesavers and lifeguards across the country.

We encourage you to do this as a show of support for fellow lifesavers and recognition of the tragedy that has unfolded at Bondi while also reflecting on our respect and compassion for the Jewish community targeted by this attack.

We ask that there are no speeches, just silence, as we pay respects to those who lost their lives, those who risked their lives, those who worked so hard to save lives, and all of us who will never forget.

One delighted canine at the surf club is eyeing up his owner's purchase of one of the many tickets sold for the Combined Shoalhaven Heads Fishing Clubs Monster Raffle. We thank all the locals and visitors who attended our markets today to purchase gifts and support 15 local micro businesses, as well as five not-for-profit community groups, including the Shoalhaven Heads Surf Club, kidsfix, Shoalhaven Heads Lions Club, Shoalhaven Heads Fishing Club, and Shoalhaven Heads Bowlo Fishing Club.
The day was a success for everyone, culminating in the club's festive photos with Santa fundraiser on the beach.
Santa and his mischievous elf will return for more photo opportunities on the dates listed in the flyer 🎅🎅🎅

Big day at the Surf Club.
- Patrol 3 on the beach
- Nippers from 930
- SRC and BM trainees are half way through their course and will be honing skills
- Our new IRB will be in the water for a photo shoot

If any members not already there could come down for photos in our new uniforms, that would be fantastic.
