ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS
The Goulburn Murray Tennis Association is the new association that has been formed after the amalgamation of the previous four tennis associations in the region.
GMTA will be hosting our first AGM on 15 July, and we will be looking for new people to step up and be involved on the committee. This EOI document lists position descriptions for all Executive and Competition committee positions, showing the responsibilities and time commitment for over 20 positions that will need to be filled: Goulburn Murray TA Committee EOI form. Completing the EOI form by 1 July is strongly encouraged to help us prepare for the AGM.
The new committee will help shape the future of tennis in the region, with some positions focused on strategy and some on delivery. These positions generally will require much less of a time commitment than club volunteering. While they will not require a significant time commitment, volunteering will have a huge impact on shaping how tennis is delivered in the area and will be incredibly rewarding.
Even if you do not have capacity to assist, we'd love for you to send this information to your players and committee members, or let us know if there are passionate individuals at your club that could be a good fit for the association committee.
