Tuesday the 1st of August 2026, the first day of spring.
Yesterday Hans, Willis , Julie and David tackled a Peppercorn tree that had blown over, Hans with his semi and tractor with its front end loader removed the large logs and is now in a yard drying getting ready to be milled.
In previous years when the club has had milled and dressed Peppercorn timber it has sold very quickly as it has wonderful feature in it, so don’t be shy, contact the club and get your order in.

The Townsville Woodies had their open day today with a steady flow of interested people coming through to checkout what the club has to offer.
David was in attendance with his mobile shop of woodworking gear, the weather was great and all visitors enjoyed seeing lathes in action as well as purchasing members goodies.

The Shepparton winter market in the Mall is on today with some of the GV Woodworkers representing the club and doing lathe turning demonstrations , this is a great opportunity for the Club to get some outside exposure.
