Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, due to a lack of team registrations and several late team withdrawals, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our indoor tournament that was scheduled for Saturday 10 October 2026.

Our aim has always been to deliver high quality, well-organised events that provide the best possible experience for participants. Given the current numbers, we do not feel we can achieve the standard we set for ourselves.

We sincerely thank everyone who expressed interest and supported the event. We remain committed to delivering this tournament and are planning to reschedule it in 2027.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

📢 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – JOIN THE GVAYA COMMITTEE! 📢
The Goulburn Valley Afghan Youth Association (GVAYA) is growing, and we're looking for passionate community members to join us as General Committee Members for 2026/27! 🌟

Whether you're into sport, youth programs, culture, or just want to give back to our community there's a place for you at the table. No previous committee experience needed, just Commitment and a willingness to get involved.

🤝 What's involved?
• Attending regular committee meetings
• Helping plan and deliver community events and programs
• Being a voice for our community and its young people

✍️ How to express your interest:

1️⃣ Tell us a bit about yourself and your connection to the Goulburn Valley Afghan community.
2️⃣ Why are you interested in joining the GVAYA committee?
