Nepalese Community in Goulburn Valley Region was started by our dedicated and visionary community leaders back in 2020 to break down barriers and create opportunities for success by linking people with specific skills, knowledge and qualification with people who are looking to aspire in the mainstream community sph

ere. Nepalese Community in Goulburn Valley Region is Not-for-Profit Charitable Community Organisation which has been constantly growing and adopting to the changes of community since its inception. We have been promoting and preserving Nepalese culture by conducting various cultural programs in collaboration with our allies, partners, generous supporters, friends, and Victorian Government. We also have been embracing cultural diversity by active participation and offer potential support to bring communities together in peace and harmonious way. We, Nepalese Community in Goulburn Valley Region, continue to acknowledge the Yorta Yorta and Bangerang peoples of the land on which we operate, live and meet, and recognise their continuing connections to the land, water and community. We pay our respect to their tribal elder’s past, present and emerging.

WHAT MATTERS TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN REGIONAL VICTORIA.

To become your own voice and concern being address in systematic way, we would encourage you to express your thoughts be a game changer.

Victorian Parliament community engagement team are hosting youth forums in Shepparton & Kyabram in mid-April which gives young people a chance to tell Parliament, what matters to regional young people.

If you know regional based young people with Permanent Resident or Citizen visa status aged between 16 -30 years and would like to take part, let us know by filling in the Expression of interest form below by March 15.

Do you know a hard working young volunteer? Now is the time to recognise them!

This award celebrates the enthusiasm, initiative and leadership of young people aged 12 to 25 years of age in volunteering. Nominees will be inspiring young people who have made a remarkable impact and contribution through volunteering for people, a community, group, organisation, or cause in the Greater Shepparton region.

A volunteer you know doesn’t fit this category? Fear not! There are three other awards categories:
🎖️ Adult Volunteer: 26 years of age and over.
🎖️ Volunteer Team: A group of two or more people.
🎖️ Long Serving Volunteer: 15 years or more service.

We are currently experiencing plant issues at the Shepparton Water Treatment Plant.

The water supplied by Goulburn Valley Water is safe to drink.

Please conserve water to help us manage demand while the plant issue is resolved.

This affects customers in Shepparton, Kialla, Congupna, Mooroopna, Tallygaroopna, Orrvale, Ardmona and Toolamba.
