Mik's Mates Walk

Mik's Mates Walk Support our favourite Viking, Mik, by raising funds to help cure brain cancer. Key Sponsor Schroders And Schroders as primary sponsor.

Hello Friends,
Our beloved Mik has been diagnosed with brain cancer - a devastating and insidious disease that we are still coming to terms with. The love and support we’ve received has inspired us to bring our community together for an uplifting event that will have a positive impact on Mik’s fight against brain cancer. We would like to invite you to support Mik’s 'Don't Mess with the Vikings' Wa

lk on 26 November 2023 in Sydney to raise funds to help find a cure for brain cancer. To join us and show your support you can choose to simply make a donation or take one step further and register to join Mik and his mates on the walk from Shelly Beach to Curl Curl. We’ve partnered with Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, the leading organisation for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia. Since Mik’s diagnosis, Cure Brain Cancer Foundation has connected us with world leading experts. These conversations, support and hope have helped us enormously as a family. With your help, we aim to raise $50,000 in the next three weeks for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation as they push the envelope on cancer research, bringing new world-class clinical trials to Australia and innovative new treatments to a cancer that has experienced excruciatingly slow progress over the past 30 years. Join us in supporting our favourite Estonian in sending a very clear message to brain cancer – ‘Don’t Mess With the Vikings!!’

All monies raised will go directly towards new clinical trials for brain cancer in Australia with Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Donations are fully tax deductible. With love and thanks from

Mik, Alice, James and Eliza
