Another successful Bands Extravaganza. Each year the music teachers of four or five secondary schools gather their bands together. This is not a competition but a chance for the students to enjoy themselves in a performance in front of an audience. A small entry fee goes towards funding for BRICC (Ballarat Integrated Cancer Centre). Well done everyone.

What an incredible honour tonight, three members of Sebastopol & District Lions Club received the Melville Jones Fellow Award for dedicated humanitarian services from Lions Clubs International Foundation. Christine Glare, Michael Glare and Malcolm McCann.

A fun Dinner night tonight when 2ndVDG Gita visited. Dogs were the theme including one that laughed and one that collected money. It was also Karen's birthday.

Des Hudson drew our Christmas Raffle this afternoon. Five prizes won. Christmas cakes and puddings sold. What a busy five weeks we've had. Merry Christmas everyone.
