🇨🇿 We are delighted to welcome our 2026/2027 Exchange Student, Sal, from the Czech Republic!

Over the next 12 months, Sal will be hosted by local families in Scone while attending Scone High School. We look forward to sharing this exciting exchange journey with her and wish her a wonderful year of new friendships, experiences, and memories.

Last night Marina shared with us the work she has been doing in India for Veerni Empowering Girls. Veerni believes that true democracy depends on the full participation of women in their communities and that education is the most effective instrument to secure this end. What an inspiring program having a positive impact. It shows just one person can make a difference for many.

Celebrating another fantastic year of uniting for good at the Rotary Club of Scone’s Changeover Dinner. We acknowledged the amazing work of Rotarian, Margaret Clarke with a Paul Harris Fellow surrounded by her friends and family. We inducted our newest member, Jill Hamling and presented appreciation certificates to local businesses and organisations that have supported us throughout the year. We are looking forward to another Rotary year of creating lasting impact. Thank you, outgoing President Lindy Hunt, for your leadership and service.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at tonight’s Trivia Night. A special mention to Luc Bates, our RYLA participant, who delivered the questions for the Rotary round. It was a great night with proceeds going to our Youth Programs.

The Rotary Club of Scone were supporting a local event to launch the Time Portal immersive installation at the Scone Museum. What a fantastic turn out to witness the launch.

This year, The Rotary Foundation will award up to 170 fully funded fellowships through our Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities worldwide. These fellowships are designed to empower and equip the next generation of peacebuilders and connect them for collective action.🤝🏽

Through a blend of academic learning, practice, and global networking, participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to promote peace, prevent and transform conflict, and advance sustainable development in their communities and beyond.
