Wobbegong sharks, commonly known as "carpet sharks.”

They are bottom-dwelling predators famous for their incredible camouflage. They belong to a family Orectolobidae and their name originates from an Australian Aboriginal word meaning "shaggy beard.”

They have flattened bodies and fringed skin flaps, perfectly mimicking the ocean floor.

They "Walk" Wobbegongs can use their flexible pectoral and pelvic fins to "walk" or waddle across the seafloor and can even move between isolated tidal pools during low tide.
