Our special guest for our May meeting was Maris Stanley representing Queensland Rail.
Maris gave us invaluable information about Queensland Rail holidays, including the different trains and the services available, coastal, inland and outback routes, holiday packages and discounts available to seniors and pensioners.
A very interesting talk, especially for our members who are keen travellers.

We bring women together to enjoy social activities, develop new skills, build lasting friendships and connect through a variety of events - while supporting the education of disadvantaged young Australians through The Smith Family.

At our March lunchtime meeting, Kerri-Anne Dooley gave an inspiring talk about aspects of her life.
She is the Qld state MP for Redcliffe and passionate about her community.
She spoke about her experience as an RN, her volunteer work and other community projects.
She also mentioned our group on her FB page giving us valuable advertising.
