Today we walked Out of the Shadows together – every single step made a difference. 💛 Each step carried the weight of love, loss, hope, and the reminder that no one should ever feel alone in the dark.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, or walked alongside us in spirit. Together, we’ve shown strength, compassion, and community. 💛👣

Let’s keep the conversation going, keep supporting one another, and keep shining light in the places it’s needed most. 🌟

💙 Father’s Day Reflections 💙

Today we pause to celebrate and honour all the incredible dads, grandads, step-dads, uncles, mentors, and father figures who guide, love, and support us in countless ways. Your presence, laughter, and wisdom make a lasting difference in our families and our community.

But we also acknowledge that Father’s Day can be tender for many. To those whose dads are no longer with us, to families separated by distance, and to those who may feel the ache of absence today — our thoughts and hearts are with you. 💐

Whether your dad is by your side, remembered in cherished memories, or represented by the love of another father figure, today is about recognising the special role they play in shaping who we are.

From all of us at the Saunders Beach Community Centre, we send love, strength, and gratitude to every family today.

📌 Notice of Re-Opening

The Saunders Beach Community Centre advises that the facility will be re-opening this week.

During the recent closure, the Committee has been addressing matters of concern to ensure that the Centre continues to operate in the best interests of the community. We appreciate the patience and understanding extended to us throughout this process.

The Committee remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and well-managed environment for all community members, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Centre.

Our first community dinner on our return will be held Friday evening, with Spaghetti Bolognaise on the menu. We warmly invite all community members to join us.
