Good morning TRBPC Inc Members,

Unfortunately it has been brought to the Club's attention that some members have recently received a SCAM email seeking assistance from individual Club members by way of providing funds for "program expenses". It is not known where these emails have originated from, except that unfortunately the originator has been able to access some Club member's email addresses and appears familiar with the current Committee position holder's names and titles.

The email address they are being sent from is not the email address of our Club President, and at no point would the Tasmanian Rare Breeds Poultry Club Inc ever send an email to members seeking financial assistance for bill payments/program expenses.

Please DO NOT under any circumstances engage in any email conversations with anyone that is soliciting assistance or monetary transfer. If you are ever in doubt about the authenticity of a TRBPC Inc email, please first discuss via phone with a Club Committee member (using saved phone numbers, not those included in a SCAM email).

If any member has unfortunately opened and engaged with these SCAM emails and transferred funds, please contact your financial institution ASAP. Also report to www.scamwatch.gov.au
