4 Simple steps to Protect Your Flock
​Biosecurity starts in our own backyards. Biosecurity Queensland recommends keeping these core habits in place:
1: ​Keep Wild Birds Out: Prevent wild birds (especially waterfowl like ducks and geese) from accessing your poultry's feed, water, or coop area.
​2: Clean Water Source: Ensure drinking water comes from town supply, underground bores, or treated rainwater—avoid untreated dam/surface water frequented by wild waterfowl.
​3: Good Hygiene: Clean feeding equipment, footwear, and coops regularly. Avoid sharing equipment between yards without proper sanitization.
​4: Quarantine New arrivals: Always quarantine new stock or birds returning from shows/gatherings for at least 2–3 weeks before reintroducing them to your main flock.

Stay vigilant, keep your coops clean, and let’s keep Queensland’s poultry safe and healthy! 🐔🌾

If anyone has current contact details for Geoffrey Leonard or knows how I can reach him, please send me a private message.

I've attempted to resolve this directly but have not received the entries or an update. I'm simply looking to make contact and have the matter resolved.
