Our chaplaincy committee provides support to school Chaplains who work to provide a caring, safe space for social, emotional, and spiritual support for school students in the Sarina area. We’re proud to support our local primary and secondary schools and we are so blessed to have Community Bank Sarina, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, Wilmar and Ergon Energy offer their ongoing support to our Chaplain

cy Committee. We provide a wide range of support services to students and their families, including:
✨ Emotional support – surrounding issues such as divorce, mental health and relationships
✨ Social support – providing mentorship and positive peer support
✨ Senior school transitioning – guiding students and their families from primary to high school
✨ Health support – connecting students to variety of professional services within our network of agencies, including youth and neighborhood centres
✨ Spiritual support – to look after students’ wellbeing during times of grief, pain and loss

Supporting those who support our youth 💛

Our Board Chair Karen recently attended the Sarina District Schools Chaplaincy Committee AGM, a wonderful opportunity to hear about the important work being done to support students and school communities across our region.

Community Bank Sarina has proudly supported Sarina District Chaplaincy Committee for many years. Their work providing care, guidance and a listening ear to young people plays a valuable role in strengthening the wellbeing of our community.

Thank you to these chaplains and volunteers who continue to make a difference in the lives of Sarina region students and families.

A brand new playground for Swayneville State School - Community Grant awarded to Swayneville State School P&C Association ! 🛝

We are proud to support the Swayneville SS P &C with a 2025 Community Bank Sarina Community Grant of $69,000 to build a brand new playground for their students.

This exciting project will provide a safe and engaging space where children can play, learn and connect, supporting youth engagement, active learning and overall wellbeing.

Every account, loan and service with Community Bank Sarina helps us continue supporting the people, clubs and causes that make our region a great place to live.
