๐ŸŒž SunSmart season has arrived! ๐ŸŒž

In Tasmania the UV is 3 or above from the beginning of September until the end of April. This means we need to be using sun protection daily.

Over the next month we are going to be providing tips, tricks, and busting myths about all things SunSmart. What better way to start the SunSmart season than ensure Tasmanians know how to enjoy the outdoors while protecting themselves against skin cancer.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Always know the UV level. Download the Global UV SunSmart app. It's free.

We took the plunge! ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿ’›

This week, the Hobart Cancer Council Tasmania Team braved the icy waters of the Derwent River for the Daffodil Dip โ€“ raising funds and awareness for Tasmanians impacted by cancer.

We've been blown away by all of the incredible dippers across Tassie who have stepped outside their comfort zone and into some seriously chilly water this month. Thanks to each and every one of you for your courage, enthusiasm and ongoing support.

There's still time to join the fun (and the chill!), make a splash and make a difference. Every dip helps raise awareness, and every dollar raised helps provide cancer support services, prevention programs and vital cancer research for those who need it.
