5th Sandringham Scout Group - Public Page Scouting is a volunteer organisation, made up of generous leaders and parent helpers who make Scoutin

If you want to become a Scout, you are accepting a challenge to plunge into action. You could find yourself exploring a mountain wilderness, helping in emergency rescues, operating a radio station, photographing wild animals, sending coded messages, searching for gold, canoeing down a river, camping in the bush, recording your own songs or sailing across the ocean with the salt spray in your face. Scouting gives you the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of exciting activities. It also gives you the greatest opportunity of all - the opportunity to develop real friendships by sharing the experiences of learning, growing and exploring the world with others. Best of all, you might get to take part in a Jamboree - a huge camp with over 10,000 other Scouts for two weeks. You'll do so much stuff it's too much to mention - HUGE fun!

There will be free coffee and hot chocolate, plenty of community spirit and the opportunity to celebrate 25 years of Community Bank Highett supporting local clubs, schools, charities and community organisations.

We’ve been invited to celebrate 25 years of Community Bank Highett with them on Friday 21 August, and there’s a fantastic opportunity for our local community to support 5th Sandringham Scout Group.

On the day, visitors can vote for a local organisation to receive a $2,500 community donation, and we’d love to see as many of our Scouts, families and supporters there as possible to vote for 5th Sandringham Scouts.

Just visit the Highett Branch on Friday 21 August.

There will be free coffee and hot chocolate, plenty of community spirit and the opportunity to celebrate 25 years of Community Bank Highett supporting local clubs, schools, charities and community organisations.

We really are spoilt here in Bayside. With blue skies, crisp winter sunshine and beautiful days by the bay, there's no better time to get outside and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

Looking for a fun, active, and adventurous activity for your child? We’d love to welcome you to 5th Sandringham Joey Scouts for our Open Day!

Joey Scouts is for girls and boys aged 5–8 years and is all about adventure, imagination, making new friends, and learning valuable life skills through fun and exciting activities.
