This week, as our staff enjoyed delicious scones thanks to Community Bank Sandringham, we were delighted to share some wonderful news with them. Community Bank Sandringham has generously committed to funding Sandringham Hospital’s staff wellbeing program again in 2026.
We are incredibly grateful for Community Bank Sandringham's continued support in helping us care for the people who care for our community. We can’t wait to share the love with our hardworking team again next year. 💙

Thank you to everyone who attended the Sandringham Yacht Club Oaks Day Ladies Luncheon last week!
Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $24,000 to help purchase a resuscitaire to support the care of unwell babies and infants in the emergency department at Sandringham Hospital.

⛳ What a fantastic day of golf!

Yesterday the Bayside Charity PGA Associate Pro-Am was a huge success, raising vital funds for Sandringham Hospital and local charities.

We were delighted to visit Brighton Beach Primary School and receive a beautiful bundle of 100 letters from the Grade 5 students. 💌

As part of their 100 Acts of Kindness initiative, the students wrote heartfelt messages to thank Sandringham Hospital staff for caring for the community.

These letters have brought so many smiles to our staff this week — a wonderful reminder of the power of kindness. 💙

🎉 Celebrating 7 Years! 🎉
Today marks 7 years since the official opening of the Sandringham Community Bank Day Procedure Centre – a milestone made possible thanks to the generosity of our incredible community. 💙 Since opening, more than 17,000 patients have received care in the centre.
To mark the occasion, our team enjoyed a sweet treat with cupcakes for morning tea 🧁 – a small way to celebrate the big difference this Centre continues to make every day.

🌊🐠 Virtual reality meets real-world care at Sandringham Hospital 💙

Thanks to Community Bank Sandringham, Smileyscope virtual reality (VR) headsets are helping to ease pain and anxiety for patients at Sandringham Hospital.

From swimming with sea lions to relaxing by a lake, these magical moments are making a big difference during treatment.

“Coming to hospital can be overwhelming, especially for kids. The Smileyscope gives them something joyful and soothing to focus on, which can make a huge difference,” said emergency department nurse, Belinda.

The initiative was led by the emergency department team and has now expanded to include the dialysis unit and outpatient clinics.
