GUIDED HISTORY WALK – BALD HILLS CEMETERY (Last one for 2026)

The museum will be hosting a guided walking tour of Bald Hills Cemetery.
Come along and learn about this historic cemetery, “meet” some of its very interesting occupants and enjoy a picnic morning tea.

When: Saturday 26 September 2026
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Ticket: $30.00 includes morning tea
Meet: At Bald Hills Cemetery, Bracken Ridge
(Drive in through the entrance at 225 Barrett Street)
Walk: Easy to moderate – some uneven ground
Bring: Chair if desired, hat, water bottle & walking shoes

Coming in September

Due to popular demand, the museum will be hosting two more walks – Flinders Parade and Bald Hills Cemetery in September – these will be the last for 2026.

EINBUNPIN FESTIVAL

What better way to spend a winter’s Sunday morning than to join us at this year’s Einbunpin festival on Sunday 26 July.
Come down and purchase a little bit of history - we have a collection of old bottles discovered during the archaeological dig at Shorncliffe Station.
There will also be a display, books for sale, a raffle and an opportunity to donate to the Save our Museum fund.

If you’d like to volunteer for an hour or so, please email or phone the museum.
We look forward to seeing you.

Another successful Bald Hills Cemetery walk last Saturday with an informative talk by Pattie followed by a delicious morning tea.
