Sandgate Wetlands & Wildlife Wetlands rehabilitation and wildlife conservation in the 4017 Area The greater Sandgate area is host to many wetlands, both tidal and fresh.

Three of them: Moreton Bay, Dowse and Third Lagoons, are Ramsar listed. These wetlands are important habitats for many species including some that are in decline or endangered. The objective of the Sandgate Wetlands and Wildlife page is to promote the rehabilitation of wetlands and the conservation of wildlife in the 4017 area through:

• publicising our local environment and

• identify

A huge thank you to the Dawn Patrol/Four57 Inc group, who earlier this morning kindly assisted the Dowse Lagoon Bush Care Group in moving 20 cubic metres of mulch to support our new planting on Southerden Street
