The Gippsland Branch is one of 11 branches of the GSDCV dedicated to the improvement, promotion and protection of the German Shepherd Dog.

Tomorrow’s training will be the ever popular social walk with obedience training around the Port of Sale.

A great chance to get out with your dogs, enjoy a relaxed walk together and work on some real-world obedience skills in a fun social environment.

Unfortunately we won’t have any instructors available this weekend.

Our instructors are all volunteers who do an incredible job, dedicating their time each week to help members train their dogs—but sometimes life just gets a bit too busy.

As a result, there will be no training this weekend, and we’ll also be closed next weekend for Anzac Day.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support, and we look forward to seeing you all back on Saturday 2nd May 🐾

✨ Big News from Today’s AGM! ✨
Today’s AGM marked one of the most significant leadership transitions the Gippsland Branch has seen in well over a decade. With Ray and Anne stepping back from their Branch Executive roles, we warmly welcome Tania Waixel as our incoming Branch Manager, Fiona Clarke as our incoming Branch Treasurer, and Alicia Hart as the incoming Chief Instructor.
Alongside our continuing Executive Committee members — Assistant Branch Manager Sharyn Thompson and Branch Secretary Leonie Taylor — the future looks incredibly bright for the Gippsland Branch.

Due to instructor availability, there will be NO TRAINING AT GIPPSLAND this week. We will also be closed on the grand final weekend so our next training day will be the 4th of October.

There will be no training at the Gippsland Branch on 8th of March due to the long weekend. We’ll be back to normal training next weekend.

Congratulations to our 2025 Commitee who will take up their roles on 23rd of March after the club AGM.

The Chief Instructor will be elected at the next Instructors meeting. We will also fill the Maintenance Officer role at next month's committee meeting.

Unfortunately we did not get the required quorum for our AGM yesterday so in accordance with club rules the meet has been adjourned for 7 days.

The Gippsland branch AGM will resume on Saturday 22nd of February at 10am at the club rooms in Sale.

Training will commence immediately after the meeting.

14/02/2025

Due to instructor availability there will be no training tomorrow 15/2. The AGM will still be held at 10am as scheduled. If no quorum the meeting will be held next week.
